Hermitage in the municipal district of Rueda de Jalón, a stronghold that Abd al-Rahman III besieged and took in 934 during his campaign against rebellious Zaragoza, and where, after the Almoravid takeover of 1110, Abd al-Malik, the last ruler of the Hudid dynasty of Zaragoza, took refuge until his death in 1130.
