The winter festivities of Lituénigo, with the minor celebrations in honour of Saint Blaise held on the first weekend of February, exist alongside the Pesada, a singular tradition of the Tarazona and Moncayo region documented since 1295 and declared a festival of tourist interest of Aragon in 1998: the mayordomos collect wheat, children born that year are weighed, and the wheat is auctioned off, during the festivities of San Miguel at the end of September.
