Festivities of Pleitas Activity · Pleitas, Ribera Alta del Ebro, Zaragoza Image of Pleitas, not of the place itself. Pleitas, with barely two square kilometres of land on the left bank of the Jalón, was the lordship of Ximeno de Arenoso in the 13th century; donated in 1266 to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, it remained under its rule for more than five centuries, and in 1316 archbishop Pedro de Luna issued a ruling on the sharing of its irrigation waters.
