Roman Site of Luceni Nature · Luceni, Ribera Alta del Ebro, Zaragoza Image of Luceni, not of the place itself. In the municipality of Luceni, remains of a Roman settlement dated to the era of the emperor Antoninus Pius (138-161) have been found, based on coins and medals discovered in the area. The municipality also preserves traces of a later, Visigothic occupation from the 7th and 8th centuries, with coins minted during the reigns of Wamba and Witiza, pointing to a continuous presence in the area over several centuries.
