Church of Ibdes Monument · Ibdes, Comunidad de Calatayud, Zaragoza Image of Ibdes, not of the place itself. The parish church of Ibdes (Community of Calatayud, Zaragoza), dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, was built between 1517 and 1526 near the Monasterio de Piedra. It is Gothic in style, with three naves separated by robust pillars and ribbed vaults, and a Renaissance portal. Its main altarpiece, of cathedral type, was commissioned in 1555 and was painted and gilded by Pietro Morone and Juan Catalán in 1558, with figures of Saint Bernard and Saint Benedict from the Monasterio de Piedra. It also preserves an organ case from 1732, the work of Bartolomé Sánchez, a Gothic baptismal font from 1539 and carved wooden pulpits from the 17th century.
