Church of Used Monument · Used, Campo de Daroca, Zaragoza Image of Used, not of the place itself. The parish church of San Martín de Tours stands on the Castellar, the highest point of Used, near the Gallocanta lagoon. It is a building of Romanesque origin much altered in the 17th century, with a single rectangular nave covered by a lunette vault reinforced by three transverse arches, two vaulted side chapels and a rectangular apse to the east; the entrance door, with a round arch, opens in the south wall. The tower, at the foot of the temple, has little vertical development and preserves several loopholes and bell openings beneath a roof with a false dome. The interior, formerly decorated with brightly coloured geometric and floral motifs, was destroyed by a fire during the Spanish Civil War, and the temple today stands in a state of general ruin.
