Church of Murero Monument · Murero, Campo de Daroca, Zaragoza Image of Murero, not of the place itself. The parish church of la Asunción in Murero (Campo de Daroca, Zaragoza) is, on the whole, a 17th-century work built over a 15th-century construction, with a porch added in the 19th century; in 2008 it was fully restored, including the tower. The village is famous for its palaeontological trilobite site from the lower and middle Cambrian, considered the most important such site in Spain and one of the most notable of the Cambrian worldwide: some species, such as Paradoxides mureroensis, were first described here.
