Shrine of la Virgen del Águila

Monument · Paniza, Campo de Cariñena, Zaragoza

Sanctuary of the Virgen del Águila, in the Sierra de Paniza, razed by the troops of Marshal Suchet during the War of Independence and rebuilt by the villagers in 1824. Next to it lie the highest vineyards of the Denominación de Origen Cariñena, with century-old Garnacha vines at 850 metres.
