From Longares, part of the Cariñena Designation of Origin, the three zones of the region's wine-growing landscape can be seen: the foothills of the Sistema Ibérico with the sierra de Algairén (1,275 m), the plain of orderly terraces, and the valley of the Huerva. The hiking trails setting out from the village offer panoramic views over this mosaic of more than 12,000 hectares of vineyard.
