Charter of privileges from Alfonso I to Mallén

Alfonso I the Battler recovered Mallén in 1119 and in 1132 granted its residents a charter of privileges that set out franchises and duties. The document sought to settle Christian population in a stronghold exposed to incursions from Navarre and Castile.
