Fréscano (Campo de Borja, Zaragoza) celebrates its patron saint festivities in honour of the Virgen del Pilar from 12 to 16 October, and on 17 January honours San Antón with the lighting of a bonfire in the centre of the village and the blessing of the animals, which go three times around the saint's pillar. On Easter Sunday the village is decked with laurel branches by the quintos, while the Virgen de la Huerta is carried in procession from her hermitage to the church of the Pilar. In 2002 summer festivities were also created to replace, with better weather, those of San Antón.
