The parish church of Plenas, dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Piedad, was built in the 16th century, while its brick tower, in Baroque style, dates from the 18th century. The church suffered significant damage during the Civil War, and both the tower and the rest of the building were restored in the early 21st century. Plenas is one of the smallest municipalities in the comarca of Campo de Belchite.
