The patron saints of Rubiales are the Virgen de la Asunción and San Roque, celebrated in mid-August; the most notable event on the local calendar is the pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta (in Villel), on Ascension Sunday in May, and on the first Saturday of August the town joins the Fiesta de la Rogativa together with other towns of the Sierra de Albarracín.
