The festivities of Frías de Albarracín are held in the municipality where the Tagus rises, the longest river on the Iberian Peninsula. Nowadays the patron saint festivities, from 14 to 18 August, are the main celebrations of the village and enjoy renown throughout the Sierra de Albarracín and the nearby villages. In the past the feast of Corpus Christi and the Fiesta de los Mayos were also celebrated, now discontinued.
