The patron saint festivities of Calomarde are celebrated in honour of Saint Giles the Abbot around 18 and 19 August; they were previously held on 2 September. Already in 1846, the description by Pascual Madoz recorded in the municipal district two hermitages, one dedicated precisely to Saint Giles the Abbot and the other to Saint Sebastian the Martyr, which attests to the antiquity of this devotion in the village.
