Church of Bronchales Monument · Bronchales, Sierra de Albarracín, Teruel The parish church of Bronchales (Sierra de Albarracín, Teruel) had a Romanesque origin, probably next to the castle and dedicated to Saint Barbara, and went through a Gothic phase in the 14th and 15th centuries. The present building, dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady, was completed between 1624 and 1689. Already in the Middle Ages, the parish priest of Bronchales was among the seven priests of the diocese of Albarracín present at the oath of allegiance to its first bishop, don Martín.
