Hermitage in the municipality of La Fresneda, whose old town, with its arcaded square and Renaissance exchange building (lonja), is declared a historic-artistic site. Of the medieval castle only remains survive on the Cerro de Santa Bárbara, after the Carlist general Ramón Cabrera blew it up during the First Carlist War (1833-1840).
