Fórnoles, in the Teruel Matarraña, is the birthplace of Braulio Foz Burges, born in 1791, a university professor and author of Vida de Pedro Saputo, one of the most widely read Aragonese novels of the 19th century. His birth house now serves as a museum dedicated to the writer.
