The archaeologist Juan Cabré Aguiló

Born in the town, he was a pioneer of the study of rock art and of the protohistory of the Peninsula: he identified the Calapatá paintings and excavated between 1903 and 1919 the Iberian settlement of San Antonio. The town preserves a museum with part of his archaeological collection.
