The patron saint festivities of Cañada de Benatanduz (Maestrazgo, Teruel) are celebrated on 24 June in honour of San Juan, next to the remains of the village's medieval castle, declared a historic-artistic site. The events include a mass and a procession through the streets, the planting of a pine tree in the square that is later auctioned off to pay for the festival, a communal meal with lamb as the main dish, and a drink that the Town Council offers to all residents.
