The parish church of Obón, in the Cuencas Mineras comarca of Teruel, is dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady. This is recorded in the dictionary of Pascual Madoz, in the mid-19th century, which notes that it was then served by a second-rank priest. The temple stands next to the río Martín cave paintings.
