The festivities of Obón are celebrated in a town first mentioned in 1177 as Ovonciello, in whose territory there are rock shelters with Levantine rock art, such as La Coquinera and the Hocino de Chornas, and the Cueva de los Huesos, with Pleistocene fauna.
