The parish church of Alcaine (Cuencas Mineras, Teruel) stands to the east of the town centre, near the río Martín cave paintings, and is dedicated to Santa María la Mayor. It is a single-nave temple with nine altars, distinguished by a tall brick-built tower that dominates the village's skyline. It is the main religious building in Alcaine.
