Separation from Alcañiz through the 1624 concord

In 1624 Valdealgorfa, together with Valjunquera and La Codoñera, detached itself from the jurisdiction of Alcañiz by means of a concord that Philip IV ratified in 1629. The three places came to be governed by their own councils.
