Guadalopillo river plain Nature · Foz-Calanda, Bajo Aragón, Teruel Image of Foz-Calanda, not of the place itself. The Guadalopillo rises in Ejulve at 1,150 m, in the foothills of the Majalinos, and after being regulated by the Gallipuén reservoir it forms, in the Alcorisa depression, a fertile plain that irrigates the municipalities of Alcorisa, Foz-Calanda and Calanda before narrowing into a gorge and joining the Guadalope. Foz-Calanda sits precisely where the river, after fertilizing the plain, narrows between bare hills. Photo: José Antonio Bielsa Arbiol (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Foz-Calanda
