Church of Ejulve

Church of Santa María la Mayor de Ejulve, built over an earlier Gothic temple and enlarged in 1565, with a plateresque portal from the late 16th century. It retains the tower and part of the Gothic façade, with ten chapels, some with their own confraternity. A 1938 bombing, during the Civil War, destroyed the roof and vaults, later rebuilt; the current altarpiece comes from the church of San Juan and San Pedro de Zaragoza.
