Festivities of Broto Activity · Broto, Sobrarbe, Huesca Image of Broto, not of the place itself. Broto, in the Sobrarbe district of Huesca, celebrates San Blas on 3 February, San Clemente on 23 November and its patronal festivities in honour of the Virgen del Rosario from 4 to 6 October, with the traditional Palotiau dance as one of the most characteristic acts of the processions. The feast of San Blas, known as the winter festival, is marked by a joint pilgrimage of the people of Broto and neighbouring Sarvisé along the path linking the two villages to the saint's hermitage, while on 23 November the pilgrimage to the hermitage of San Clemente takes place. The local festive calendar is completed by other pilgrimages, such as that of Santa Elena on the second Sunday of June and that of the Virgen de Morillo on 1 May.
