The winter festivities of Castillonroy are centred on the feast of San Antonio, celebrated on 17 January. The village lies next to the Santa Ana reservoir, on the river Noguera Ribagorzana, on the border between La Litera and Catalonia; besides San Antonio, Castillonroy celebrates Santa Rita on 22 May and its summer festivities on the third Sunday of August.
