Agüero celebrates its patronal festivities in honor of San Roque on 16 August, with a six-day program that includes folk groups, theater and communal stew gatherings (calderetas) beneath the Mallos rock formations. In winter, on 3 February, it also celebrates the festivities of San Blas, also patron saint of the town.
