Binaced, in the Cinca Medio south of Monzón, bases its intensive agriculture on the irrigation of the Canal de Aragón y Cataluña, dominated by fruit trees — peach, pear and apple — and vegetables. The pantano de San Salvador, which covers more than 1,000 hectares between Albalate de Cinca, Belver de Cinca and Binaced itself, is part of this irrigation system.
