Pedro II donated Ballobar to the monastery of Sigena in 1212. Jaime I sold it to the countess of Urgel in 1268 and handed it to Geraldo de Cabrera in 1273, until in 1295 it returned to the royal patrimony. From the Andalusi past there remains the enclosure called La Forza.
