Lorquí has the highest proportion of cave dwellings of any municipality in the Region of Murcia, scattered through the old town and hidden behind modern façades. The 'Los Tablachos' cave museum and the Flamenco Cave on the Plaza Pueblo Nuevo allow visitors to see and learn about this architecture cut into the rock.
