Image of Cieza, not of the place itself.

Museum devoted to the processional heritage of the Holy Week brotherhoods of Cieza (Region of Murcia), a festival more than 600 years old that was declared of Interés Turístico Regional in 1993, Nacional in 2011 and, finally, Internacional on 23 March 2023 (regional, national and international-level tourism designations in Spain, respectively). Its processions are known for following the chronological order of the biblical account and bring together the locality's 18 brotherhoods, with a total of 43 pasos, most of them carvings by recognised sculptors such as José Capuz, Romero Zafra, Álvarez Duarte or the Cieza-born sculptor Manuel Juan Carrillo. Several sources put at more than 5,000 the number of people who take part each year in the processions organised by the brotherhoods.
