Church of the Discalced Carmelite convent founded in 1586 with the direct involvement of San Juan de la Cruz, following the license granted by Felipe II on the 16th of May that year. The Baroque-style church was completed in 1635; its current layout and the altarpieces by Agustín López and Miguel Calzada date from the second half of the 18th century.
