The Templete of Caravaca

El Templete, also called el Bañadero, is a small Baroque religious building with a hexagonal floor plan inscribed within a circle, built in 1762 in Caravaca de la Cruz, in the Murcian Northwest comarca. Every 3 May it hosts the bathing of the Santísima y Vera Cruz, a ritual act that has been held since 1384. The building stands at the end of La Glorieta, a tree-lined promenade in the city.
