Emblematic civic tower in the historic centre of Bullas, one of the landmarks along the route through the town's Plaza Vieja. It was opened in 1900 and originally served to control the irrigation turns of the local market gardens. Around it stand manor houses built by well-off families around the same period, and the Plaza Vieja itself hosts the monthly craft market known as El Zacatín.
