The salto del Usero is a natural area located in the municipality of Bullas (Northwest comarca of the Region of Murcia), on the northwest slope of the cerro del Castellar, through which the waters of the río Mula flow in the area known as El Molinar. Considered one of the most beautiful natural areas in the region, it is one of Murcia's five Monumentos Naturales and receives thousands of tourists throughout the year. On the night of San Juan it hosts the traditional Bajada de la Mora, in which hundreds of people gather around the pool formed by the great waterfall, the heart of the site, to meet the Moorish queen and be blessed by her waters. Access requires prior booking and payment of an entrance fee.
