Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Monument · Torre-Pacheco, Mar Menor, Murcia Image of Torre-Pacheco, not of the place itself. A parish church of Baroque origin located in the district of Dolores de Pacheco, in the municipality of Torre-Pacheco (Murcia), dedicated to the Virgin who gives the town its name. Over the years architectural features have been added, including a series of interconnected chapels opening onto the central nave through round arches. It has a notable altarpiece and sacristy. At the entrance to the church stand the tower and the chapel-crypt of the Ayuso family, which holds paintings signed and dated 1887 by Querubina Ayuso. The building is listed by the Regional Historical Heritage Service of the Directorate-General for Culture. Photo: Cariyandres (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Torre-Pacheco
