Beniel holds its main festival in honour of San Bartolomé and the Virgen del Rosario, with a float parade and the traditional 'verbena del chusco', at which warm bread with oil and salt is handed out. The Candelaria festival, held since the 18th century, is the most popular in the local calendar.
