The Casa Rubio de El Algar, in Cartagena, is a two-storey manor house with an attic, built in 1895 by an owner enriched by the mining of the Sierra de Cartagena-La Unión. It stands in the urban centre of the district, where, despite being somewhat hidden by neighbouring buildings, it makes a strong visual impact, especially since its restoration.
