Church of San Andrés Monument · Mazarrón, Bajo Guadalentín, Murcia The church of San Andrés is the oldest parish church in Mazarrón (Bajo Guadalentín, Murcia). It was commissioned in the 16th century by the Duke of Escalona and built between 1523 and 1549 with Mudéjar features, such as the coffered artesonado and alfarje ceilings that cover its interior. It was renovated in 1762, when a transept was added. Its wooden coffered ceiling is especially notable. Photo: Yolanda95 (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Mazarrón
