A hermitage built in 1771 in La Hoya, the most populous outlying village of Lorca, on the remains of an earlier 16th-century chapel dedicated to the Virgen de la Salud. The traditional Salud pilgrimage festival is centred on it, in a settlement whose parish identity took shape in the late 18th century.
