The battle of Yecla

At dawn on 11 April 1813, the troops of the French general Harispe surprised in the streets of Yecla the Murcian division of Mijares, which withdrew towards Jumilla leaving hundreds dead and more than a thousand prisoners at the start of the Castalla campaign.
