A pre-Roman fortified settlement at Beduledo, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Spain's highest level of heritage protection) with the category of archaeological zone by the decree of 14 May 2014. From it comes the roughly carved warrior's head now kept in the museum of the Coaña hillfort.
