Tower of Arango Monument · Pravia, Avilés, Asturias A late-medieval square tower keep raised by the Arango lineage, with solid walls and few openings, a reminder of the days when the noble houses of the lower Nalón had to defend themselves on their own. It forms part of the present Palacio de Arango, built between the 17th and 18th centuries in the settlement of Arborio, within the parish of Arango, in the municipality of Pravia; the palace, of two storeys with its main façade facing south, towards the garden, preserves this five-storey tower, which probably dates back to the 15th century.
