Cueva de Ekain

A cave with Paleolithic rock art (Magdalenian period) discovered in 1969, with about 70 figures, mostly horses, among paintings and engravings. It has been included since 2008 in the UNESCO listing 'Cave of Altamira and Paleolithic Cave Art of Northern Spain.' The original cave cannot be visited; the Ekainberri replica was built next to it to preserve the original.
