Embalse de Urrunaga y galería a Bilbao Curiosity · Legutio, Cuadrilla de Zuia, Álava Image of Legutio, not of the place itself. The Urrunaga reservoir (also called Santa Engracia), inaugurated in 1957 on the river Zadorra, has been connected since 1973 by a 15.5 km gallery, 4.25 m in diameter, to the Biscay reservoir of Undurraga in Barazar; after generating electricity, the water is channeled through another tunnel of about 16 km to the water treatment plant of Arrigorriaga, to supply Bilbao.
