Barrundia
Village
Valley-municipality of 97.43 km² and about 850 inhabitants, made up of 15 settlements (13 concejos and two further entities), with its capital at Ozaeta. It is already documented in the Reja de San Millán of the year 1025, a list of Álava villages that paid tribute in iron bars to the monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla. The present-day municipality arose in 1885 from the union of the former municipalities of Barrundia and Gebara.
