Lanciego/Lantziego

Village · Lanciego/Lantziego, Cuadrilla de Laguardia-Rioja Alavesa, Álava

Municipality made up of the settlements of Lanciego, Assa, and Viñaspre. It belonged to the kingdom of Navarre in the early Middle Ages and was a village of the town and lands of Laguardia until 1630, when it became independent and obtained the title of villa with its own jurisdiction.
