Palace-monastic complex made up of a palace, a church, a convent and a tower-chapel, built in the second half of the 14th century by Fernán Pérez de Ayala as the ancestral seat of the Ayala lineage. It has been listed as a Bien Cultural Calificado since 2002, the Basque regional heritage designation distinct from the state BIC.
